Hi! I'm Em (: I’m a 1st generation Salvadorean and Mexican born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I co-own Nine Lives LA and I’ve been tattooing for a little over 4 years now. My favorite styles to tattoo are traditional and fineline black & grey. A lot of my work is heavily influenced by music and film, and I love to paint and use different mediums whenever I have the time. Before tattooing, I studied Game Design at UC Santa Cruz where I got my Bachelors, with an emphasis on art and animation.

I believe that tattooing is a sacred practice, and it's a privilege to have clients who allow me to tattoo them in the first place. All I care about is making cool tattoos and creating a pleasant experience for all my clients. The meaning of life is art and love <3
